Date Player
12/2/2020 Cam Newton, NE, QB
Newton was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice with an abdominal injury.

Analysis: Newton's injury shouldn't be an issue leading into this week's game against the Chargers, but his passing continues to be a problem. The former league MVP threw for a measly 84 yards with two interceptions against the Cardinals last week, the seventh time in 10 games this season he's been held under 175 yards.
12/2/2020 Dalvin Cook, Min, RB
Cook was limited in Wednesday's practice by an ankle injury, though he's still expected to play Sunday against the Jaguars.

Analysis: Cook, whose 14 total touchdowns are tied for the NFL lead, continues to have his share of bumps and bruises but has remained both effective and active. The standout running back has averaged a whopping 28.8 touches over his last five games.
12/2/2020 Calvin Ridley, Atl, WR
Ridley (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice ahead of Atlanta's Week 13 game against the Saints.

Analysis: Ridley returned to the field after injuring his ankle last week so he is expected to be fine for New Orleans.
12/2/2020 Jonnu Smith, Ten, TE
Smith (knee) did not practice Wednesday ahead of the Titans' Week 13 game against the Browns.

Analysis: Smith, whose seven touchdown receptions are tied for the most in the NFL among tight ends, was not targeted a single time in the Titans' Week 12 win over the Colts.
12/2/2020 Darius Slayton, NYG, WR
Slayton (shoulder, foot) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice ahead of the Giants' Week 13 game at Seattle.

Analysis: Slayton injured his shoulder in Week 10 against the Eagles but finished with five receptions for 93 yards. He then came out of the Week 11 bye week with no catches on two targets in the Giants' win at Cincinnati in Week 12.
12/2/2020 Mark Ingram II, Bal, RB
Ingram did not come off the reserve/COVID-19 list for Wednesday's game against the Steelers.

Analysis: J.K. Dobbins stayed on the list as well, leaving Gus Edwards as the team's clear-cut best option at running back. Baltimore comes into the contest extremely short-handed, so it may be best to refrain from using any Ravens' skill players.
12/2/2020 J.K. Dobbins, Bal, RB
Dobbins did not come off the reserve/COVID-19 list for Wednesday's game against the Steelers.

Analysis: Mark Ingram is inactive as well, which could force Gus Edwards into a workhorse role for this rescheduled contest. Edwards still may not be a great option in a matchup in which the Ravens will be severely undermanned due to their COVID-19 outbreak.
12/2/2020 Mike Glennon, Jax, QB
Jaguars coach Doug Marrone said Glennon will remain the starting quarterback for Sunday's game at Minnesota.

Analysis: Marrone will stick with Glennon for another week despite Gardner Minshew being over his thumb injury. The journeyman did have a solid game against the Browns last Sunday, throwing for 235 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions as Jacksonville hung tough in a 27-25 defeat.
